On 11 November 2025 our colleague Katja delivered a keynote how companies can be ready for the implementation of the Electronic Product Information; at the conference organised by the Hungarian Society of Pharmaceutical Registrars (MAGYOTT) in Budapest, drawing attention to one of the most important shifts facing the pharmaceutical industry today.
In an era where the health-tech and regulatory landscapes are evolving at unprecedented pace, simply waiting for regulatory deadlines is no longer sufficient. Companies must act now. Katja emphasised that readiness is not about ticking boxes – it’s about building the capability to transform.
She laid out a clear framework for company readiness: begin with a phased roadmap that ensures your governance, tools, data and processes are aligned. But more than process, the bigger message was about implication: electronic Product Information (ePI) is not just a regulatory requirement. It is a strategic enabler of digital health, real-time data flows and value creation across the enterprise.
By treating ePI readiness as a catalyst for broader digital transformation – rather than a standalone initiative – companies can embed data-centric thinking across key functions: regulatory, quality, product information, manufacturing and supply chain. When structured product information becomes one of your digital assets, layered on top of your master data, it unlocks new possibilities for efficiency, insight and value.
Katja’s presentation made one thing clear: companies that begin preparation today aren’t just avoiding risk – they are positioning themselves for competitive advantage. The time to move is now, not when the deadline looms.
Thanks to Katja’s insight, our goal remains clear: move beyond compliance and lead the change.
