Špela holds a Master’s degree in Pharmacy from the Faculty of Pharmacy at the University of Ljubljana and has completed a Post-Master’s Specialization in Drug Testing at the Slovene Chamber of Pharmacy. Her expertise includes medicinal product testing, quality control, quality assurance, pharmaceutical process optimization, as well as galenic and community pharmacy compounding. She has extensive experience in sterile manufacturing environments, including aseptic filling, media fills, and smoke studies. Špela is skilled in implementing and maintaining comprehensive quality systems while ensuring rigorous compliance with GDP and GMP standards. With a strong track record in conducting audits, managing risk, and overseeing training programs for pharmaceutical professionals, she is dedicated to delivering excellence, compliance, and the safety of medicinal products. In her role as Technical Head at Billev Pharma East, Špela oversees and coordinates activities between the pharmacovigilance, medical, regulatory, and quality departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and adherence to the highest standards.
